Lauren Lucia is a certified and licensed occupational therapist in the state of Connecticut. Lauren received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Lauren has spent time as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings including elementary school, inpatient acute care rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and home care.

While exploring different settings Lauren found her passion for pediatrics, and prior to joining Sallyz, was an Early Intervention (birth to three) occupational therapist that traveled all over Connecticut to treat children in their homes. She is used to working collaboratively with a variety of other healthcare professionals including Physical Therapist(PT)s, Speech & Language Pathologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts(BCBAs), Special Education Teachers, and more.

Lauren has done extensive training in feeding and eating difficulties and loves working with children who struggle in this area. One of her favorite parts of being an occupational therapist besides feeding and eating therapy is getting to know families and children to create individualized, family centered treatment plans based on evaluation results.
